Who doesn't love sweet treats and fun activities? We're combining both with this delightful ice cream paper craft for kids. It's an engaging project that will keep children entertained while they create their own colourful ice cream cones and provide plenty of play-fun afterwards.

So gather your supplies and get ready for a delicious crafting session that's sure to be a hit!

What you'll need:

ree
  • yellow card

  • pastel coloured crepe paper

  • cotton wool

  • scissors

  • glue

  • tape

  • yellow pen

  • colourful paper scraps

How to:

ree

Cut your yellow card into half circles. For ours we used a side plate to draw a circle and cut it in half.

ree

With the yellow pen draw a check pattern onto your half circles.

ree

Roll them into cones fix together with glue.

ree

Now cut the crepe paper into squares (roughly 20-25cm wide). Our crepe paper was very thin so we used two layer for the squares.

ree

Fill each square with cotton wool.

ree

Wrap the cotton wool up into balls, twist the ends of the crepe paper and fixate with tape.

ree

Glue the crepe balls onto your cones and leave to dry.

ree

Meanwhile cut your paper scraps into small pieces to resemble sprinkles.

ree

Glue your sprinkles onto the ice creams. Once dry they're ready to play.

Happy crafting!
